Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Leh
Arrive in Leh (12,500 ft), transfer to your hotel and spend the day acclimatizing. In the evening, visit the local market and Shanti Stupa for panoramic views of Leh town.
Day 2 – Leh Local Sightseeing
Visit Alchi Monastery, Hall of Fame Museum, Gurudwara Patthar Sahib, Magnetic Hill and Sangam, where the Indus and Zanskar rivers meet, before returning to Leh.
Day 3 – Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La (124 km)
Cross Khardung La (18,390 ft) into Nubra Valley. Visit Diskit Monastery, check into Hunder and enjoy an optional Bactrian camel safari on the famous sand dunes.
Day 4 – Nubra Valley – Turtuk – Nubra Valley (160 km)
Travel to Turtuk, one of India's northernmost villages. Visit the Dhothang viewpoint near the Line of Control, experience Balti culture, taste the region's famous apricots and return to Hunder for the night.
Day 5 – Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via Shyok (163 km)
Drive along the scenic Shyok River route through the Karakoram Range before arriving at Pangong Lake, one of the world's highest saltwater lakes.
Day 6 – Pangong Lake to Leh via Chang La Pass
Cross Chang La Pass and visit Shey Palace, Hemis Monastery and Thiksey Monastery before reaching Leh in the evening.
Day 7 – Departure
After breakfast, transfer to Leh Airport for your onward journey.

Rates shown are based on twin sharing for two travellers. Group pricing for 4–12 travellers is available on request.

Before You Go
- Carry a valid Aadhaar Card, Voter ID or Passport.
- Bring your driving licence if renting a vehicle locally.
- Pack thermals, light woollens and a heavy jacket.
- Carry sunscreen, moisturizer and UV-protection sunglasses.
- Bring a cap, muffler and rain poncho.
- Check the latest permit requirements before travelling as regulations may change.
- The Nubra–Pangong route via Shyok may have water crossings during June and July, so early departures are recommended.
